Internal Spring Cleaning

With the arrival of spring, it’s the perfect time to do a little internal spring cleaning of your own. Here are some simple ways to detox your body just in time for all that warm weather fun!

Digestive Cleansing
One simple way to clean out your system is to target the digestive track. Use aloe vera juice to help soothe your stomach and get relief from occasional heartburn and acid indigestion. Also, you can utilize Bentonite Clay and Psyllium Husks together to help pull out toxins. The Bentonite expands to absorb toxins in the digestive track and the Psyllium helps to dispel those toxins from the intestines.

More Tools to Help Remove Toxins
You can also utilize supplements to help clear the body of heavy metals and toxins. Supplements such as Swedish Bitters  and Chlororhyll help to remove various environmental pollutants and stimulate the body’s own ability to heal. Swedish Bitters combines bitter herbs to help the liver to remove waste, while,Chlororphyll—which comes from the core of green plants—helps to build the blood, increase oxygenation and boost energy levels to help purify and renew.

Using Foods to Cleanse

Beyond supplements, you can utilize foods to help cleanse your body. Soups provide a great base for cleansing because they are light and easy for the body to digest. Try replacing your dinner meal with soup for an entire week to encourage the body to remove toxins.  Another idea is to integrate more raw foods into your diet to better match your digestive anatomy. Raw Revolution features nutrient dense ingredients like sprouted flax seeds delivered in a delicious and convenient bar. Also, consider eating more foods with simple ingredients and eliminating foods and beverages like sugar, alcohol and caffeine.

Please note: Since everyone is different, please make sure to check with your doctor or healthcare provider before cleansing.
