I love your organic olive oil! I’ve tired just about all of the other brands, so I can certainly attest to the difference in the flavor of Wild Oats oil. Its clean without any bitter aftertaste, the quality is superb! Another fact that attracted me to your product other than it being organic was, it is sold in a DARK glass bottle, and we all appreciate the benefits of glass verses plastic containers. I’m looking forward trying out your other organic products if they’re available here. Aloha from Hawaii cj!
This is simply fraudulent advertising. It states “regionally harvested” at peak season; thinking in Ohio regional means somewhere within my state or even the continental United States but it is not true; it is imported from Argentina!!!!!!! Not to mention how you cannot guarantee or enforce organic standards internationally; “Organic” is a labeling term used in the United States there is no international organic standard; deceitful practices
Hi Daniel – It is a common misconception that USDA certified organic standards are not enforced abroad, but this is not true. Thus when you buy any USDA certified organic product, you can be assured that it meets the specific standards designed by the USDA. Also, Argentina has some of the best olive oil producers in the world. Typically, when looking at award-winning olive oils, you will notice that they are produced abroad. Thanks for your feedback!
Love the tast of your Wild Oats Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil but noticed a lot of whitish looking blobs floating about the bottom couple inches of the dark bottle !!! Have bought other brands before and have never seen this before. It is kept at room temperature in kitchen cupboard …… Read that if cooled it can begin to harden but is not in a cool place …… What could this be???
Hi Patty! Cloudiness in olive oil can result from naturally occurring sediment or from storage at cool temperatures. Some extra virgin olive oils will appear cloudy at room temperature. Thanks!
